Problémy po laserové operaci očí

Infekce (méně než 0,005%) - Infekce je vzácná. Není-li zachycena včas, může poškodit rohovku i ostatní tkáně oka. Při včasném zachycení je dobře léčitelná.

Obtíže při tvorbě lamely (0,3%) - Neobvyklý tvar a charakteristika některých očí může vést k obtížím při vytváření rohovkové lamely. Úlohu hraje i kvalifikace chirurga a typ použitého keratomu. Pokud obtíže vzniknou, jsou obvykle řešitelné a nebrání v pokračování zákroku. V některých případech je ale lepší zákrok přerušit. LASIK je poté odložen na následující měsíce, případně je zvolena jiná metoda refrakční chirurgie.

Vrůstání epitelu pod rohovkovou lamelu (méně než 2%) - Buňky povrchového rohovkového epitelu mohou vniknout pod rohovkový lalok a komplikovat hojivý proces. Tento problém řešíme odklopením laloku, pečlivým vyčistěním styčných ploch a zpětným přiklopením laloku.

Posun a vrásnění rohovkové lamely (méně než 1%) - V průběhu hojení někdy mohou vzniknout řasy rohovkové lamely. Tento problém se obvykle samovolně vyřeší v průběhu tří až šesti měsíců po zákroku. Při posunu je nutno lamelu vrátit zpět na správné místo. Operatér jemně lalok nadzdvihne a umístí do správné polohy. K nápravnému zákroku přistupujeme, pokud uvedené problémy významně ovlivňují vidění.

Difuzní lamelární keratitida (méně než 1%) - Určitá minimální míra neinfekčního zánětlivého procesu v oblasti styčných ploch rohovkové lamely a stromatu je v prvních dnech po zákroku normálním projevem hojení. Tento stav obvykle nevyžaduje speciální léčbu. Pokud tyto projevy přetrvávají nebo se stupňuje jejich intenzita, přistupujeme k podávání očních kapek, které zánět obvykle potlačí nebo situaci řešíme výplachem prostoru pod lamelou.

Problémy spojené s refrakčním zákrokem

Zamlžení a jizvení rohovky (méně než 1%) - IMikroskopické obláčkovité zamlžení, obvykle pacientem nezaznamenané, je v průběhu prvních měsíců po zákroku normálním nálezem. V průběhu dalšího hojení mizí. U pacientů s větším počtem dioptrií a u pacientů s individuálním hojením je někdy zamlžení intenzivnější a může přetrvávat delší dobu. Tento problém se řeší podáváním vyšších dávek očních kapek, eventuálně doplňkovým zákrokem. Při neobvyklém průběhu hojení může dojít hlavně u pacientů s vysokou vadou k jemnému jizvení v povrchních vrstvách rohovkového stromatu.
